VEE was made up of a network of dedicated community hubs spanning the state to reach restaurants and meal recipients in every county in Vermont.
Hubs were sponsored by a diverse group of community organizations, including farm-to-table initiatives, downtown resiliency organizations, recovery support programs, food security advocates, community action agencies, mutual aid entities, business innovators, and more.
Hubs managed relationships with local restaurants, farmers, community organizations, meal distribution partners, and others who were vital in sourcing, producing, transporting, and delivering VEE meals to eaters in need.
The hubs comprised a tight-knit community of practice that extends across the state. Hub representatives met weekly throughout to help develop the program, encourage each other, share information, problem-solve, and offer mutual support through the program's unusual challenges.
Below is a list of the sponsoring organizations for all of the original 14 VEE hubs.
