VEE is made up of a network of eleven (formerly fourteen) dedicated community hubs spanning the state to reach restaurants and eaters in every county in Vermont.
The hubs are sponsored by a remarkably diverse group of community organizations, including farm-to-table initiatives, downtown resiliency organizations, recovery support programs, food security advocates, community action agencies, mutual aid entities, business innovators, and more.
When the VEE program first began, these organizations boldly stepped up to ensure and manage their region's VEE participation by developing relationships with local restaurants, farmers, community organizations, meal distribution partners, and others who have been vital in sourcing, producing, transporting, and delivering VEE meals to eaters in need.
The hubs comprise a tight-knit community of practice that extends across the state. Hub representatives have met weekly throughout to help develop the program, encourage each other, share information, problem-solve, and offer mutual support through the program's unusual challenges.
Below is a list of the sponsoring organizations for all of the original 14 VEE hubs.
